Welcome to Irish Rugby Shirts, an online museum examining the sartorial history of Irish rugby teams. Having enjoyed some success with Pride In The Jersey, the only site dedicated to GAA kits, we have decided to add a bit more to our workload.
It's a fairly big remit, we'll admit that, but, like eating an elephant, we'll take it one bi(y)te at a time. As it's in the very early stages, right now we only have the current kits of the national team and the four professional provinces uploaded, but things will be made substantial fairly quickly. Click on the relevant strip on the right to be taken to that team's page.
UPDATE 18-7-15: Ireland have launched two new strips for the upcoming Rugby World Cup.
22-1-15: All of the variations worn by Leinster since the start of 2012-13 can now be seen.
12-1-15: The Munster strips of recent years have been classified - we've even gone to the trouble of putting the correct sleeve patches on :)
In the not too distant future, it's envisaged that the kits of other countries will be added and then foreign clubs too. We may lose interest in the whole thing, but hopefully not. Should you have any queries, advice or criticism, please get in touch on admin@prideinthejersey.com.
